There are so many ways to style your wedding to reflect you and your partners personalities. Wedding Themes are a perfect way to show who you are as a couple.

Creating a Paris wedding theme for a recent Bridal Expo was fun. Yes a wedding theme sometimes can be over the top, but that is the joy and challenge of it all.

With the Paris Theme, I started with an Eiffel Tower, and decorated it with small lights and red roses. It would look amazing en masse in a room with lights dimmed. (Yes, I do have them available for hire)

I also wanted the centrepiece and the table decorations to reflect a Moulin Rouge feel. I went with red, black & whites, but this would also look stunning with hot pinks and purples in satin.

Styling is all about the small details, not necessarily the expense. To create a very French feel to this table, the napkin rings for the men were red & black garters alternating with fish net gloves & small red roses for the women.

Place cards were a challenge, but was fortunate to find gorgeous clipart of an old fashioned corset via Mr. Google. The same image was used also for the front of the menu with a small red rose added. For the gents, I used the same clipart but overlaid it with a old fashioned moustache.

The chair cover sashes were tied to the side with black & white feathers adding to the French wedding theme. The bombonieres? Small bottles of wine of course, with ribbons to the side of the bottle neck to reflect a dancer’s neck ribbon.

I almost want to do the can-can. I did say almost…….
